Fairmont Hotel in D.C. purchases Wind kWh 9,5 million

The Fairmont Washington, D.C.-the hotel has purchased 9,5 million kilowatt hours (kWh)-renewable energy certificates (RECs), representing 100% of our electricity use. Wind RECs are currently provided by alternative Renewable Energy.

Fairmont acquisition in order to guarantee the sustainability of the initiative is part of a larger hotel, which includes recycling programs, energy efficiency improvement measures, water protection and other measures; the hotel also offers a green meeting option.
